Taking in Amritsar’s picturesque beauty, Ameesha Patel finds it hard to resist rushing into the lush green fields on a cycle. While in the farms, she tries her hand at harvesting in the mango, lady finger, litchi and pear fields. Visiting the fields brought out the filmi side in Ameesha as she went back to her Bollywood roots. She gets treated to a bhangra performance by the local folk dancers while she swings on the traditional jhulas.

 

It’s time for lassi, the popular refreshing drink of the Punjabis. Ameesha makes lassi at a famous, local lassiwala’s stall that has been around since 1935. After relishing the cool drink, she proceeds for some shopping at the renowned Hal market. One cannot miss the authentic ‘phulkari’ designs of Amritsar and Ameesha fills her shopping bags with the traditional wear. This kind hearted actress ends the day by visiting the Santok Gurudwara and after offering prayers she does seva by serving food to the people. And with this Ameesha departs from Amritsar with a memorable experience.
