Rapid growth in the U.S. Hispanic and African American community has created another boom — in media. In recent months, several major media players have announced plans to join the competition for the Hispanic, African American and Chinese television audience. There’s a new Hispanic broadcast TV network coming, plus a host of new cable channels aimed at Latinos.  But what these channels don’t account for is the lower income viewers.

Charlotte, NC. Da’Shawn Holmes has just released a new project called “UrbanFix.” The project is now up on www.kickstarter.com Titled “UrbanFlix” for everyone to see and be a part of.  This campaign is showcasing the project in a unique way.  The backers are able to get an inside look at how this idea came to realization and become part of the conversation on its future.  The creator, Holmes, is telling his story on how “UrbanFix” came to realization.  Anyone who has a passion for affordable, cultural entertainment will be interested to see how this works.

To realize growth and reach future users the creator has chosen crowdfunding as a platform for to get the word out.  The crowdfunding process will allow the creator to see users reactions and help facilitate societal involvement.  Crowdfunding is a fantastic and relatively new way of gaining exposure but the team is positive that this will be the key to their success. The goal of this campaign is to reach those who share the vision of UrbanFlix.

The team did a really good job at providing perks that speak to their funders.  With this campaign the backers can receive early access to Urbanflix and also a t-shirt to represent this company. Backers can also get progress updates and receive tickets to the UrbanFlix release party in NYC summer 2015.

The founder says, “We’re confident UrbanFlix will bring to people something that was obviously missing. However it will seamlessly fit into the online streaming media craze we already appreciate. This will guarantee that people can view more of what they want and stop paying for what they don’t need.”

“We’re really excited to be launching our campaign”, says Da’Shawn Holmes. With simple features and an intuitive platform, this is something anyone can use to watch their favorite old AND new shows.” Take a comprehensive look at what this groundbreaking project is all about.  For more information, visit: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1512278076/urbanflix-our-entertainmentour-cultureour-way-join  and the website at www.urbanflixonline.com to connect through social media.
