Precision tooling techniques are used to create an advanced anodized aluminum & rubber casing that has the look and finish of LED flashlight models costing twice the price.
Incorporating Dorcy‘s exclusive TrueSpot® reflector technology, the MG-300 series produces world-class brightness using state of the art LEDs and electronics. These virtually indestructible super bright LED flashlight units have a weather and shock resistant design. Both lights have sealed rubber push button switches for ease of use, and come complete with alkaline batteries. The MG-300 series incorporates TrueSpot® Reflector: Precision spot useful beam pattern. The two new super bright LED flashlight models in the series are the 41-4292 and the 41-4295.
Beginning in 2010, many top flashlight manufactures have agreed to use the same standards (ANSI-FL-1) for measuring performance, ANSI/NEMA FL 1 introduces a uniform way of defining, measuring, and marking basic flashlight performance. The clearly defined test methods and marking rules helps consumers gain a clearer understanding of the performance provided by a given product.Both new super bright LED flashlight models in the MG-300 series have been tested using the new ANSI FL1standards.
The 41-4292 MG-300 LED flashlight has an ANSI FL1 170 lumen rating and is driven by 6AA batteries. With a beam distance up to 300 meters, the 41-4292 measures 9.5†x 1.5†with a 3.25 “ bezel. It has a run time of up to fivehours.
The 41-4295 MG-300 LED flashlight has an ANSI FL1 130 lumen rating and is driven by 3 AAA batterieswitha beam distance up to 150 meters. The 41-4295 measures in at 6†long x 1.12†with a 2.18†bezel and has arun time of up to three hours.
Dorcy has also incorporated trap blister packaging for both new products. Trap blister packaging using PET plastic eliminates excess waste and the PET packaging is environmentally friendly with a 15% reduction in package size reduction
