This week on STAR, catch Super Star Saravanan Sivakumar, better known by his stage name Suriya as he talks about his success and recalls his journey to Stardom. This superstar dons many hats from actor, to producer to television presenter. He has till date worked across 29 films in various genres and has often found himself in the news for his on screen chemistry, secret romance and subsequently fairytale wedding to his wife Jyothika.

 

TIMES NOW team joins him in the beautiful port town Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu where Suriya is shooting for the action sequences for the sequel to the Tamil Blockbuster Singam. The team gets access to behind the scenes where Suriya, the handsome actor was shaking a leg with the gorgeous Anjali for an item number in the film.

 

Flimfare award winner for Best Tamil Actor and known for his versatile acting, Suriya was enroute to the Madurai Airport, with the TIMES NOW team in tow, where he calls Singham 2, double the entertainment and assures us that the sequel will not be disappointing for its viewers.

 

In the exclusive interaction, the reclusive actor talks about how he never dreamt of being a famous superstar, but started gaining popularity post the success of his movie Nandha.  He is the eldest son of Tamil film actor Sivakumar, and married actress Jyothika in 2006, after being engaged for several years. In 2008, he began Agaram Foundation, which funds various philanthropic activities.

 

The show will also capture candid moments with those close to Suriya including the entourage of Singam 2 who give us interesting insight on the actor’s life.
