TradePlumbing has recently launched a new section to the website giving customers the opportunity to search for and find a local fitter in their area, called Find a Plumber.

“We did this as a response to regular requests from our customers, who wanted to know if we could provide details of fitters in their area. As we‘re a national company, we decided to gather together a database covering the whole of the UK, giving contact details of professional businesses who were in the field of plumbing installations”, commented Kat Pettit, Marketing Manager for Trade Plumbing.

With the UK recovering from a very cold spell, heating systems across the country have been showing signs of struggling. January is also known in the trade as the month when consumers think about overhauling their bathroom, including installing a Towel Warmer to upgrade the room.

Although fitting a Heated Towel Rail may be an easy task for a long-in-the-tooth DIYer, most homeowners aren‘t experienced enough. Similarly, an Electric Towel Rail is another way of having warm, dry towels at all times of year, regardless of whether the central heating is on. Consumers take heed, however: messing around with the electrics in your home is dangerous and if it‘s not certified by an appropriately qualified electrician or other professional, you may fall foul of building regulations or be liable for all insurance damages in the event of a fire.

This means that you will need to consult a professional, part-P registered fitter if you‘re going to install electric or dual-fuel and you may still like to contact a plumber if you want to install a standard towel warmer in your bathroom.

Visit the Find a Plumber page on TradePlumbing‘s website, enter your postcode and receive a list of plumbers within a close radius to your home.
