This Valentine’s Day, toss the roses and chocolates. Ripple Effect Artists Inc., a New York-based production company dedicated to mounting cutting-edge theatrical productions of masterfully-written published works, recommends saying ‘I Love You’ to your mate by taking him or her to the upcoming Choholic Benefit, scheduled to take place at 250 Park Avenue in New York at 47th Street, February 14, 2014.

Proceeds from this upcoming Choholic Benefit will go towards supporting their upcoming season and their play “Deathbead.”  This play will be raising awareness and funds for victims of cancer and their loved-ones at Gilda’s Club NYC, as the production company believes in theatrical, game-changing philanthropy that is designed to supporting organizations that are aligned with the theme of a particular theatrical production.

“Chocolate.  Theatre that makes a difference.  Lovely men singing.  What else do you need on Valentine’s Day?” says Jessie Fahay, Executive Director, Ripple Effect Artists, Inc.

“Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance," is a Robert F. Kennedy’s quotation that defines the kinds of theatrical productions puts on by Ripple Effects Artists, Inc.

“These productions do not merely educate and empowers audiences, but we boldly dare to move our audiences from APATHY to ACTION, creating a RIPPLE EFFECT in the larger community and world,” adds Jessie, who targets an audience make up of Theater fans, foodies, chocolate lovers, and supporters of victims of cancer.

Jessie, who believes that theatre can inspire an audience to make a difference and believes in empowering students with that same principle, adds that the upcoming Choholic Benefit will not just raise funds for a worthy cause, but will provide really fun, live music entertainment as well.

“Not only do they get to eat as much chocolate as they can handle, but there will be live music to entertain bidders during the lively auctioning that will take place,” adds Jessie, whose love for theatre, philanthropy, and ethical business practices makes her thrilled to be leading the charge at Ripple Effect Artists.
