This summer, Sony PlayStation announces a range of PS3 games under â€˜ESSENTIALSâ€˜ for Rs. 999/- only
National, April 18, 2013 — Sony PlayStation presents Indian customers with exciting deals on PS3 games for the summer season. Sony PlayStationâ„¢ will introduce PS3 ESSENTIALS range of games at an attractive and affordable price of Rs.999/- per title. An extensive catalogue of familiar games will be available from the 3rd week of April, 2013 onwards across outlets.
This is an important development with Sony PlayStation starting local replication of their BluRay games in India to allow introduction of a range of games below INR 1000 for the first time since launch of PS3. This will add to the ever increasing popularity of PS3 amongst Indian audiences by making the best of the titles available at an affordable price point.
The complete ESSENTIALS range of title will be rolled out in smaller waves to cover most of the big gaming franchises from Sony. The first wave of titles for the 3rd week of April’13 will comprise of:
· God of War Collection Volume 1
· God of War Collection Volume 2
· God of War 3
· Killzone 3
· Resistance 3
· Motorstorm Apocalypse
· Uncharted 2 : Amongst Thieves
· Heavy Rain Move Edition
· Sports Champions
· The Fight
The target is to offer almost a choice of 20 + catalogue titles under the ESSENTIALS price point of INR 999. These titles will be introduced in smaller waves beyond the first wave described during the summer months. This will allow the new consumers to start gaming without having to worry on the running cost of the games and the quality of games available at affordable price points.
