The entertaining actress will be joining the cast as the cunning mother in its second season

National: Well known actress and comedian, Upasana Singh who has been a part of movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Golmaal Returns will soon be seen in a new avatar on BIG MAGIC’s hit show — Nadaniyaan season 2. The actress, who has also won hearts of the television audience with her portrayal of the popular television character ‘Bua’, will now transform into ‘Maa’ as she makes a dramatic entry into the shows latest season that begins on August 4.

The actress will be essaying the role of the scheming and tough to please mother of the two protagonists, Nandu and Pappu. Upasana’s impeccable comic timing and her chemistry with the other characters will be bringing a fresh flavor and a bit of zing into the life of the Nadaan family.

Talking about her new role, the actress said, “Humor and Comedy as a genre has always interested me greatly and is mainly the reason why I am continually looking at exploring new facets in this area. My character in Nadaniyaan is of great relevance as my fans will see my playing a mother-in-law for the first time on screen. The pleasant plot and a meaty role is what attracted me to this series. I believe in doing performance oriented roles and it is very vital for me to add a twist to whichever character I play”.
