If host of &TV’s Deal Or No Deal Ronit Roy showed his affection to the Dabbawalas by dancing with them and whistling too, it was a chance for him to do something special for the porters of India in the upcoming episode. The family of coolies participated on the show this time and Ronit wanted to show that he was one of them. For this, he dressed up in their uniform, complete with a gamchcha. Then it was the turn of the porters to show their appreciation of being called on the show and treated so well by the actor and host. So they presented him with a coolie’s billa or badge that is their most important accessory and inscribed it with Ronit’s name. After the dabba a coolie’s badge, Ronit’s house is going to be filled with cool Mumbai stuff soon!
