03, September 2014: The 2014 Goldsmiths’ Fair‘s much anticipated full exhibitor line-up has finally been announced. Returning designers such as Jessica Poole will be showcasing their work alongside debuting talent and graduate award winners at the upcoming event to be held at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in September.

The Goldsmiths’ Fair, which is internationally recognized as the UK’s premier selling and showcase event of designer jewellery and silver, will feature 170 artist-makers. The 117 jewellers and 53 silversmiths were selected by a panel of judges assembled by The Goldsmiths’ Company. The number of applications submitted this year had increased by 18% over the number in 2013 and by over 43% for graduate bursary applications.

This year The Goldsmiths’ Company launched a new website to promote the event as well as bolster their development plans for 2014. The annual exhibition that runs for two weeks is hoping to evolve to include a wider demographic of designers and is welcoming a number of new talents to the exhibition this year.

The Fair’s new, contemporary looking website is offering visitors and collectors the opportunity to learn about exhibitors such as Jessica Poole prior to the event. Visitors to the website can also view the designer’s work and learn more via news stories, features and blog posts. The new website project is being supported by The Goldsmiths’ Company’s already established digital presence and social media forums.

The Goldsmiths’ Fair will run from September 22nd to October 5th at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in London.
