Television Actress Megha Gupta replaces Mahi Vij in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

bindass’ popular show Yeh Hai Aashiqui , which chronicles unusual love stories, is all set to bring real life love story of a Bollywood actress and gangster in an upcoming episode . Earlier Mahi Vij was essaying the role of the Bollywood actress, however due to unavoidable circumstances; she has been now replaced by Megha Gupta.
This will also mark the return of the talented actress Megha Gupta to the small screen post her wedding. Earlier the actress did many notable characters and gained popularity from her serials like Kumkum, Mamta, Main Teri Parchhain Hoon etc.
Confirming the news, Meghna says ‘’ Yes, I am very much a part of the show now. When the script was narrated to me, I completely fell in love with the character. It is exciting as well as challenging to play a real life character of a famous actress like Mandakani. The feel and look of my character will aptly represent the era I will be trying to portray. Till now it has been a fabulous experience working on Yeh Hai Aashiqui and I hope that viewers like me in my new get-up.’’
The real life gangster character will be played by TV actor Sarwar Ahuja. The show will be hosted by versatile actor Rithwik Dhanjani.
