Swadheenta and Adarsh’s love story wins hearts across the country’

Indore, Wednesday, April 13, 2016: Love is in the air as Tridha Choudhary aka Swadheenta Ramakrishnan shares her love story with the people of Indore. An idealistic IAS offcier, Adarsh has fallen head over heels in love with her.
‘Dahleez’ premiered on STAR Plus a few weeks ago and this romantic saga has already captured the hearts of viewers across the country. Dahleez is a contemporary love story set against the backdrop of the power corridors of Delhi. The show explores the worlds of two interesting personalities — Swadheenta Ramakrishnan, an aspiring lawyer from a South-Indian middle-class household and Adarsh Sinha, a government officer from a powerful and influential family. The show highlights their different approach towards the same causes and through that brings out the different people that they are. Adarsh has a clever tactic to fighting the evils of society; Swadheenta (played by Tridha Choudhury) on the other hand is righteous and wants to help the poor.
It is love at first sight for Adarsh but Swadheenta has still not reciprocated his feelings. Meanwhile, in the show, the Sinha family is ecstatic to get Adarsh’s match made with a girl of their choice, Vanshika. Adarsh’s parents Suhasini and Manohar are preparing for the engagement ceremony of their son oblivious to the fact that Adarsh loves Swadheenta and not Vanshika. What will happen when the Sinhas’ get to know the truth? Will Swadheenta accept Adarsh’s unconditional love? How these two hearts cross paths forms the crux of the story.
Keeping in mind the scale of the show, the makers have shot it entirely at real attractions in Delhi such as Jama Masjid, Khan Market, Sainik Farms in Chhatarpur, the iconic India Gate
and other interesting locations. ‘Jiya Re’ the special romantic track created for the show has been composed by the talented Superbia Band, sung by Jubin Nautiyal and penned by legendary lyricist Sameer Anjaan. A stellar cast, which includes Meghna Malik, Amit Behl, Hunar Hale, Meer Ali and Aryan Pandit, support the show.
