The world of subliminal research saw major advancements last year and we’re still looking forward to seeing more in early 2014. Recent subliminal research has focussed upon MRI observations of where and how the brain processes subliminally inserted thoughts. These types of studies have done so much to vindicate subliminal audio as a tangible and demonstrable self-improvement tool.

Subliminal research has come so far since James Vicary’s original fraudulent study, and now there is a wall of evidence to support the idea that not only does subliminal messaging work — but how it works, and which approaches work best.

How to show that subliminal programmes work?
The trouble with accessing subliminal self-help is that we don’t have access to MRI equipment, nor do we have a personal coach following us all day long recording and reminding us how we are growing and changing. We only have one brain, and it is largely incapable of monitoring itself over such a long term, when its own cognitive processes are being influenced.

It’s is like asking a video camera to record itself.

We really need to show how subliminal audio affects lives on a case by case basis. Until now, the very best way to keep track of one’s progress is by keeping a daily diary. Once the programme is complete, one can look back and be amazed at the change. It doesn’t work, however, if you are able to remember or keep reviewing old entries. It also doesn’t work if one is poor at writing down your personal thoughts. The change is also much dependent upon the particular mental, physical and social challenges you may or may not happen to face during the duration of the programme. The other way is to keep in touch with a close friend or family member who can provide objective feedback. More often than not, subliminal self-help is personal, and doing either of the above is, from what we’ve found, just too invasive.

Proven Techniques and Approach

Subliminal Today has stuck very closely to what has already proven possible with the technique. We are very conscious not to overstep the mark; to overpromise that which subliminal programming cannot deliver effectively. We stick to developing programming which is able to deliver real results, safely and within the shortest time possible. We employ short, sharp and very carefully tested NLP suggestions. This allows for the unconscious mind to process the suggestions easily and correctly, but also allows their safe manifestation in a straightforward and controlled manner.

So in 2012 we began the most ambitious subliminal research project to date, that of demonstrating that our programmes work. We did this not only to reward our loyal clients but to demonstrate to our new clients that the time they invest in listening to our programmes makes a solid, measurable difference in their lives, beyond that of the placebo effect. So with every one of our programmes, you’ll be able to participate in this study and in it, you’ll be able to track your progress — and show how your attitudes, behaviours and skill set change over time.
