Realizing information may be better absorbed visually for some; Dr. John Holds, St. Louis Ophthalmic plastic surgeon, and Jackie Carr, RN, NP have begun to create a library of infographics to support the educational information on their site. Out of the cosmetic series, this infographic is focused specifically on the facial cosmetic non-surgical procedure, Juvederm® Voluma XC.
Dr. Holds and Jackie Carr have created this educational resource in hopes to provide an additional area of support for their current and future patients researching non-surgical facial rejuvenation. This infographic is themed towards the practice’s brand with colors, graphics, and design that is visually appealing, contains a wealth of information and is formatted in an easily shareable layout.

Dr. Holds is an Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon who has practiced in St. Louis since 1990. An ophthalmic plastic surgeon is an ophthalmologist or eye surgeon who has specialized in plastic surgery around the eye, including procedures such as; cosmetic lid surgery, brow lift, Asian blepharoplasty, and upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. Dr. Holds also provides reconstructive surgery and non-surgical services such as botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments.

Dr. Holds practice focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive issues surrounding the eye and middle face. Dr. Holds was one of the original researchers in Botox therapies in the 1980’s, and has developed a number of innovative techniques in cosmetic eyelid surgery. Ms. Carr is the aesthetic nurse in the practice. As a working registered nurse she became interested in caring for aesthetic surgery patients, and has taken charge of the practice’s medical spa, “Aesthetic Medispa of West County. She graduated from St. Louis University in 2011 and became a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner April 2012.
