25, September 2014: Southeast Asia Traders announced today the charities that will receive grants through Round Two of Southeast Asia Traders Back to People Giving. Winning charities will use the funding for a variety of meaningful causes such as youth arts education, pet rescue, humanitarian relief, aiding the homeless and helping people with disabilities.
An animal welfare organization was selected as the top recipients of grants from Southeast Asia Traders in the final round of the Back to People Giving program. The Foundation works with shelters, rescue organizations and animal welfare organizations nationally to help every adoptable pet find a good home.
These winners join previous Southeast Asia Traders Back to People Giving grand-prize winners for children aid. The foundation works with high school and college students to advocate for the rescue of children in central Asia who do not have access to proper education.
The other winning charities programs are:
- Raise additional funds to promote physical fitness and healthy eating for young people;
- The development of life skills in youth through participation in the performing arts;
- Teaching and research hospitals for wildlife, providing quality care each year to thousands of injured and orphaned animals.
