Ski Amis Nominated Twice for “British Oscars” of Travel

31, July 2015: Ski Amis, a holiday operator offering package holidays skiing in the Alps and other parts of France, has been nominated for "Best Ski and Winter Tour Operator" and "Best Holiday Company for Customer Service” in the 2015 British Travel Awards (BTA).

The Categories

"The Best Ski and Winter Tour Operator" category recognises companies offering the best holiday packages designed for the comfort and convenience of consumers seeking a holiday revolving around skiing and winter activities. Ski Amis is one among ten holiday operators nominated for the category, and the company offers an extensive range of services to clients looking to go skiing in the Alps and other parts of France.

"The Best Holiday Company for Customer Service," on the other hand, recognises the competency, proficiency and rapport-building activities that allow the companies to effectively and positively address consumer concerns, complaints and grievances. Ski Amis is one among 33 other operators nominated for the category.

A Proud Achievement

One of Ski Amis' directors, Christine van Zadelhoff, said that the company was delighted to be nominated once again this year — and they're also offering one of their holidays in the Prize Chest of the BTA. "I’m always very proud of our team when we see so many happy guests. Our different ways of working seem to be paying off," she said.

Ski Amis offers 19 catered chalets in the various resort villages located in and around the Three Valleys and Paradiski areas. Their chalets appeal to a range of demographics looking to go skiing in the Alps.

Previously, the company was a nominee for the 2012 BTA, and was also a finalist in the 2013 BTA for "Best Ski and Winter Tour Operator." Ski Amis was also a joint winner in the "Best Ski Tour Operator" of the Snowvole awards of 2013.

About the BTA

Voting for the 2015 British Travel Awards is from July 6 to September 30, with the bonus of a prize draw consisting of various holiday packages, rental vouchers and even a car hire service to entice consumers to cast their vote.

Winning holiday operators will be announced on November 25, while winning voters will receive email notifications on how to claim their prizes on October 12.
