(Free Press Release) Montreal, Canada (May, 2011)

Simthetiq announced today a successful integration of a new functionality within the Bohemia Interactive Virtual Battle Space 2 (VBS2) platform. The addition—targeted towards battle tank simulators—incorporates a fully working, dynamic clock (peri-UHR), unlocking an added potential to the vehicle‘s optics which would normally have remained static.

The augmentation was developed during a contract with a German-based armament company for the delivery of a variety of fully capable, cross-platform, OpenFlight and VBS2 military 3D models. While Simthetiq has met the client‘s specific training requirements and added the new functionality to their VBS2 model library, the success of this endeavour proves that out-of-the-box limitations can be surpassed with a little ingenuity.
