Shriram Single Super Phosphate steps up in Madhya Pradesh to increase awareness

Ratlam, Shriram Fertilizers & Chemicalsheld a seminar for local farmers and Trade Partners at Hotel Balaji Central, Ratlam to promote the use of Shriram Single Super Phosphate in the local crop cycle. The seminar focussed on educating the farmerson the benefits and multi-crop usage of Shriram Super which is also available both in powder as well asgranular form which has better & long term effectiveness. Agri-experts also shared useful information on ways of maximizing crop yield through the use of SSP, its composition and the role of SSP in enhancing productivity in various crops.
The esteemed speakers gave interesting information to the farmers and traders to educate them on the benefits of SSP. ShriramFertilizers & Chemicalssimultaneously held a ‘Retailer Reach’ programme across 21 districts and 1200 villages in Madhya Pradesh to increase awareness of SSP.The company also reached out to farmers across 21 districts in the state to educate them on use of Shriram SSP as an effective phosphate fertilizer, its resultant long-term benefits and ways to incorporate the fertilizer with the local crop cycle.
With this initiative, ShriramFertilizers & Chemicalsaim to strengthen its reach and further consolidate its market position in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is looking at increased tie-ups with both private as well as government channels for effective distribution of SSP. The company is already a major player in the region supplying 2.5 Lac tonnes of SSP against the yearly consumption of about 11 Lac tonnes.
This initiative of the company has been to promote SSP as a source of Phosphatic fertilizer. It increases the soil fertility, softens the soil and hence improves water absorption by the soil. It has tremendous impact on plant growth and assisting in maintaining soil fertility. the phosphoric acid is fully water soluble. Mostly all soil can get benefit from the application of Single super phosphate as a fertilizer.
