Shivam Patil is all set to showcase the power of love with Yeh Hai Aashiqui

This week, Yeh Hai Aashiqui brings to its viewers a heart-warming story of fate and true love. Actor Shivam Patil, who made his big screen debut in the year 2013 and garnered critical acclaims for his work, will be seen playing a young and aspiring writer in the show - Rahul. Dejected and depressed with failures in his life, Rahul accidently meets Mona just when he has made up his mind to commit suicide. Oblivious of destiny’s plan, the two fall hopelessly in love with each other, but their journey isn’t easy! Mona unfolds an appalling truth about herself and suggests it’s best to part ways in order to keep away from being hurt.
While talking about his character and the show, Shivam said “I have heard quite a lot about Yeh Hai Aashiqui and it has a good standing amongst the youth. Besides this, what drove me to take up Yeh Hai Aashiqui was the fact that, they are one of the shows on television that does their love stories right. It lived up to my expectations, with the kind of image it has in the market and I really like the concept; it has a fresh and young vibe to it. The way it is shot, it’s very easy for one to connect to it and has a universal appeal. I had a great experience shooting with bindass and ‘Rahul’ was an interesting character that I got to portray; it intrigued me in a very creative sense which is what I actually look for in an actor to portray. Also, I am a writer myself, so it was not difficult to relate to the character.”
Along with Shivam Patil, Krissen Braeeto will be seen as the female protagonist, Mona. Popular television actor, Rithvik Dhanjani will be seen hosting the show, who will take the viewers through the entire story.
