If you wear sunglasses all the time, like me, then you would recognize that sunglass brands make all the difference in the world. The basis that brands are so essential with regards to sunglasses is not for the bragging rights that come with it. Instead, the amount of Ultraviolet protection that the sunglasses can offer for your eyes differ from one brand to another. With so many models out there on the market, it is difficult to point which one is the absolute best. Here, I am going to list down a couple of brands which are my definite favourite and which are not so much. Before we go on any further, my preferred sunglass brands are Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim and Persol. Brands that are not above my favourite list are Prada, Versace, Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana.

The purpose that Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim and Persol are at the best of my favourite list is because they focus on creating eye wear. All of them provide great UV defense for the eyes. Not that I am declaring that glasses created by Prada, Versace, Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana are with lower UV defense. I just do not truly fancy these sunglass models because their designs are leaning more towards fashion rather than functionality apart from being ridiculously costly at the same time.

As an undergraduate with a rather limited means, I mean, I mean on a scholarship, I do not have the extra cash to purchase sunglasses produced by either Prada, Versace, Giorgio Armani or Dolce & Gabbana. With that said, it doesn't mean that I do not possess any. The ones that I have are by Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. They were birthday gifts from my family, okay? I do have a couple of these so called fashion glasses and my greatest difficulty with them is the fact that they are so fragile. Yes, the framework is constructed of metal and plastic but the feel of the frame is different than my Ray Ban ones. They feel so delicate to the point that I would not place either my Prada or My Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses in my handbag without their case as they might break.

Another problem that I have with these so called stylish glasses is because they are not suitable to be put on during active activities. I am a passionate skate boarder and surfer. I would never use my Prada or my Dolce & Gabbana while doing either activities as again, because of their fragility, I be troubled that I might break them. But they do however look really fashionable and costly when worn while sunlight tanning by the beach or while driving in the automobile. As fashion sunglasses are made more for fashionable reasons rather than their functionality, these sunglasses appear great when used with a nice dress or a suit.

Now let's talk about sunglass models which are at the top of my favored list. I absolutely love those by Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim and Persol. I have sunglasses from all four brand names and I treasure each and every one of them. In comparison with the previous four brands, the sunglasses from these manufacturers are somewhat cheap. A sunglass from either Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim or Persol might charge you around 100 dollars a pair of but a sunglass from Prada, Versace, Giorgio Armani or Dolce & Gabbana is going to cost you around minimum 300 dollars. Discover the difference in the prince range? As an undergraduate with a rather limited means, most definitely I will take the cheaper ones.
