Results of Assembly elections 2013 — A mix of Joy, sorrow and surpprise

The most awaited results of assembly elections 2013, held last and this month are out and as estimated; BJP emerged as the biggest successful party in four states Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Declaration of results for Mizoram is due, but as per data available, Congress is on the way to form government. The results of 589 seats declared so far reveal increased influence of BJP as well as emerging of a new baby political party- Aam Aadmi.  AAP emerged as the second biggest party in Delhi election,. Leaving behind Congress very far. Out of total 70 seats of Delhi state, BJP leads the tally with 32 seats, followed by AAP with 28 and Congress with 8 seats respectively.  Two seats have been won by other parties. The magic of Shivraj Singh Chouhan was worth appreciation. Under his captaincy, BJP could add 22 more seats to the present number in MP assembly. Out of total 230 seats, BJP won 165, Congress 58 and seven seats won by other parties. In Rajasthan(199), BJP won 192, Congress 21 and  16 seats have been won by others. In Chhattisgarh (90) BJP got 49, Congress 39 and rest 2 captured by others.

Thus we see that out of total 589 results declared so far, BJP won 408, Congress 126, AAP 28 and others 27. This is an indication of belief. The people of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have believed in present ruling party, while voters of Delhi and Rajasthan have given mandates against present rulers. Congress from both the states has been stepped down. PR 24x7 Network Limited congratulates all the winning candidates, irrespective of any party, and requests each to explore avenues to serve people of their states, with more enthusiasm.

After all elections are also games and one thing is sure that if for a particular seat, contestants are more, only one will have opportunity to smile. The losers should in real spirit accept defeats and assist the winner to fulfill expectations of people and particularly the commitments which he gave to citizens of the constituency before election. In real sense,  the duties of winning party or the persons occupying prestigious seats become difficult as they have to take care of entire state. The ruling party leaders, immediately after occupying the responsible chairs, should shortlist premium requirements of the state and initiate actions without losing time. The areas which require utmost attention of ruling party are:

Education, Employment, Infrastructure, Corruption, Security etc.

If we look at Madhya Pradesh only, we find that the education standard of the state is not ranked high at country level. The students holding various degrees and diplomas from the state are not given priority over the candidates who are from other states, like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil nadu etc. This reveals a very bad picture and now it is right time to introduce some unique courses along with present syllabus to enable even a student doing 12th or equivalent to emerge as a suitable candidate for a corporate or industry after completion of present course.

A strong education system is the cornerstone of any country’s growth and prosperity. Over the last decade, India has made great strides in strengthening its primary education system. The District Information System for Education (DISE) reported in 2012 that 95% of India’s rural populations are within one kilometer of primary schools. The 2011 Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), which tracks trends in rural education, indicated that enrollment rates among primary-school-aged children were about 93%, with little difference by gender.

India’s private-schooled, English-speaking urban elite may attract global attention, but they are in the minority. The vast majority of Indian children attend government-run primary schools in rural areas, and MP state is not exception. Thus the areas require pointed attention of persons in power and utilize the available funds to explore avenues to enrich present education system or else empress upon central government to extend grants to achieve goals.

PR 24x7 Network Limited the leading public relations company of the country congratulates all the winning candidates in assembly elections 2013 and requests them to initiate innovative steps to make a well educated, pollution free and secured state.
