Easthampton, MA — March 1, 2015 - The Resilience Training Institute is pleased to announce a resilience training partnership with international corporation Proctor & Gamble. The Institute will send a talented new Faculty member to work closely with their leadership team in May. “Proctor & Gamble reached out to us to explore how we might design and deliver a resilience training program to their leadership team at an annual summit on the topic of resilience” explains Training Coordinator, Lauren O’Boyle.

Co-founder and program designer Jim Hornickel was very excited by this partnership as it proves that resilience is a topic that more people are talking about and looking into training for. He states “when we learn strategies for boosting our own personal resilience, our professional lives improve”. The Resilience Training Institute’s key resilience training program Resilience at Work is an experiential program that will teach these strategies through exploration, communication and interaction.

The Institute continues to offer the leading resilience training program in the country, and the interest in bringing these resilience training programs onsite is ever growing. Ms. O’Boyle mentions “We are seeing corporations who may have never considered a soft skill training such as this reach out to discuss how they can best support their staff through a resilience training program.” She adds “we surmise that corporate leaders finally understand the value a resilience training program can bring to their professionals in virtually every department”.

It’s not only corporations who are inquiring. “We are seeing growing interest from military organizations as well as civil service organizations who wish to offer those who serve tools for improving personal and professional resilience” mentions Ms. O’Boyle. Military personnel and civil servants such as first responders and firefighters could certainly benefit from improved resilience as they encounter tragedy and the limits of human stress regularly in the course of their work. “We are extremely grateful for those who serve our cities and country and sensitive to their specific need for resilience training programs” states Director of Learning Solutions, Suzanne Guthrie.

As a result of steady frequency of our work with these organizations, we have created a tailored Resilience Training Program designed to address the issues specific to those serving in the military or civilian service. The program has been extremely successful and we feel very proud to be designing and delivering these Resilience Training Programs to these very brave individuals.

The RTI’s signature training Resilience at Work is still the Institute’s most sought after resilience training program, but Thriving in Times of Change is another resilience training program that address specific topics that can be very challenging such as restructuring, layoffs or corporate merging; topics all too frequent these days.

Resilience training programs such as the ones offered by the Resilience Training Institute can empower staff through difficult situations and provide them with the tools for staying productive and peaceful in a changeable work environment. Participants of RTI’s resilience training programs become better able to anticipate change, influence others positively and contribute to a thriving workplace environment.

As the need continues, we will not only provide invaluable resilience training programs to organizations nationwide and worldwide, but we will continually reassess and reevaluate our resilience training programs to stay relevant with the needs of the modern workplace. ”In order to maintain our status as the Industry leader in Resilience Training, we must constantly evolve and reinvent our programs”, states Jim Hornickel, co-founder of RTI.
