Tune in to Reportaaz as the show speaks with families of those affected and brings out the truth behind such blasphemous act on Sunday, 9th September at 10:00 am and 8:30 pm only on IBN-Lokmat.

The ever increasing discomfort between India and Pakistan is no surprise as this has been going on since the partition. However, in the wake of a 14-year-old Hindu girl‘s kidnapping in Pakistan‘s Jacobabad city a few days back, a hullabaloo erupted when a delegation of 150 Hindus was held in custody by Islamabad for seven hours before being allowed to enter India for a pilgrimage. More so, before leaving Pakistan, the delegation had to give an undertaking to the Islamabad authorities that they would not seek refuge from the Indian government and would return to Pakistan within 30 days under all circumstances. According to this delegation, the Hindu families were not safe in Pakistan and kidnapping of young Hindu girls and brides at gunpoint by fundamentalists had become a routine affair. In a situation like this, the migrated Hindus do not want to return to Pakistan for the fear of being subjected to atrocities by the government.

But has India welcomed them with open arms? Reportaaz travels around and discovers the challenges faced by these families, who migrated to India hoping for a better life, but have met the similar fate.
