Growing up in a small remote village in Sonsal in Sangali District in Maharashtra, he was the first person from his village to have passed S.S.C, examination. At the tender age of 20, this educationist went on to establish Bharati Vidyapeeth a distinct educational institution. His vision and ambition towards education reflects in this institution. He has also been awarded with Ph.D in Management by university of Pune.
