Leo Burnett and Lapiz from the Publicis Groupe have been tapped by Re/Max for a nationwide ad campaign as the real estate firm is preparing to go public. Based in Denver, Re/max Holdings filed for an IPO (initial public offering) this week after being a private firm for more than 40 years. This move has been made in context of continuous improvement in the housing market business.

In July, homes sales grew to the maximum level in the past three years. There was an increment of 5.6% in existing homes sales in July and it reached a yearly figure of 5.39 million. This is 17.2% more than the previous year’s figures. Re/Max has observed that despite favorable trends in sales, consumers are nervous. Re/Max feels that this is the ripe time for them to help and guide the consumers in the buying and selling process of real estate. It is very important for the consumers to understand the necessity of having a wise partner in the process. A total of 91,809 agents are employed by the company as of last month.

The digital media, social media, radio, television, print advertising and out-of-home advertising will be handled by the multicultural agency headed by Leo Burnett- Leo Burnett and Lapiz. Both the partners Lapiz and Burnett have split the advertising duties that include general market advertising.
