Franklin NH, January 29, 2015 — RDS Dock Hardware (www.rdsdockhardware.com) the company well known for making docks, dock parts and dock accessories is adding to its lineup with two more innovative accessories designed to make dock ownership more enjoyable as well as more convenient.

The new RDS retracting dock cleats are designed to fold away when not in use, not only making docks look better, but also adding safety by greatly reducing trip hazards and the likelihood of stubbed toes.

“There are other retracting dock cleats on the market, said Chris Leuteritz, PE and owner of RDS Dock Hardware. “But most are made of plastic or nylon. In daily use they get scuffed pretty easily and tend to fade over time,” he said. “RDS dock cleats are made of durable cast aluminum so they never corrode and they don’t wear out or look aged.”

The other new RDS product is a portable dock jack that attaches to the poles on RDS dock systems. A screw handle at the top of the jack allows the dock to be easily raised and lowered. This allows dock height to be changed to match changing water levels without having to get into the water.

About RDS Dock Hardware
Unlike other manufacturers of dock hardware components who use cast iron or galvanized products, RDS Dock Hardware is produced from a solid aluminum casting manufactured out of the same alloy used by the U.S. Navy for use in marine and coastal environments. The use of this alloy coupled with the extensive field experience that RDS possesses, translates directly into the quality and durability of their dock hardware, whether it’s on a calm fresh water pond, or the powerful tides present in an ocean marina. RDS makes a complete line of floating and static dock hardware, including decking, framing and accessories. For information, visit http://www.rdsdockhardware.com
