It is with the idea of grooming the personalities of the students that Raghu and Rajin of MTV Roadies were brought on board in SGI. Raghu Ram is the creative brain and director of shows like MTV Roadies and MTV Splitsvilla while his twin brother Rajiv Laxman is the creative head of Coliseum and reality shows like 'Master Chef India', 'V the Player' and several other shows on different television channels. With an experience of close to two decades in the media and television industry, the duo have been sharing their expertise with the students of SGI through several seminars and training workshops. These were attended by not only the students but also by faculty members, parents of students and members of society from different strata.
The two main themes covered in the first seminar were 'Who am I' and 'Attitude Reasoning for Life'. The two themes shed light on today's stressful careers and how that should be dealt with by upcoming professionals. Raghu and Rajiv pointed out the importance of self assessment and self analysis and how one has to identify his strengths and weaknesses. The seminar proved to be very useful for the students to got an insight into hwo to mould their personalities so that they can aptly suit the corporate world.
