Puja Bose joins Devon ke Dev… Mahadev as Parvati
~ Replaces Sonarika Bhadoria in the coveted role of Goddess Parvati in Devon ke Dev… Mahadev ~
Mumbai, 8th July 2013: Over the last one year, India has been witness to a phenomenon called Devon ke Dev… Mahadev. This mythological series on Life OK has captured the hearts of many families with its strong cast and an even stronger narration. Sonarika Bhadoria, who played Parvati in the series has bid adieu to the show. To lay speculation and discussions at rest, it has been revealed that Puja Bose will be essaying the role of Goddess Parvati in Devon ke Dev… Mahadev.
Said Nikhil Sinha, Producer, Devon ke Dev… Mahadev, “After playing Parvati for more than a year, Sonarika has said goodbye to the show. We have found her replacement in Puja Bose, who is equally talented. We feel audiences will accept her wholeheartedly. ”
Added Puja Bose, “I am extremely honored that I have been selected to play the role of Goddess Parvati. I know I have large shoes to fill, but I’m sure that my hard work will pay off. I sincerely hope that audiences will accept me as the new Parvati.”
Puja will soon start shooting for the mythological series. Puja has previously essayed the role of Raadha in Kahanai humare Mahabharat ki and as lead in Ekta Kapoor’s Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna. Puja has also completed a host of Hindi, Telugu and Bengali movies and has been critically acclaimed for her acting skills.
Puja will be seen portraying Parvati, consort to Lord Shiva played by Mohit Raina and mother to Lord Ganesha and Kartikeya, played by Eshan Bhatia and Rushiraaj Pawar respectively.
