Dr. Zavell has practiced in Toledo, Ohio since 1993. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Zavell attended college and medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After graduation, he completed his residency in general surgery at the Medical College of Ohio where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was twice voted the Outstanding Resident Teacher.
