(Free Press Release) Known primarily for his artistic portraiture of children, Lourcey holds the designation of Master Photographer from The Professional Photographers of America.

Plano, Texas, October 01, 2010 — Plano portrait artist Larry Lourcey has added a new feature to his photo education website - a list of recommended reading for artists. The site is intended to be a launching point for photographers wanting to stretch themselves from an artistic or business perspective.

“When you want to learn something new, there is almost too much information on the internet.” says Lourcey. “My goal was to narrow down things a bit and give people a push in the right direction.”

Lourcey has gone through his extensive library of books and selected the ones he thinks are most important for a professional photographer today. Topics include growing as an artist, using social media, and even search engine optimization. There are even links directly to Amazon so the reader can get started right away. This virtual library can be found on his education website, appropriately called PhotoEducationOnline.com.

Known primarily for his artistic portraiture of children, Lourcey holds the designation of Master Photographer from The Professional Photographers of America. He has lectured to photographers at conventions across the country and dedicates much of his time to helping fellow photographers reach their artistic and business goals.
