Rochester NH, September 19—Phase 2, a leader in medical device manufacturing has been awarded its third New Hampshire Job Training Grant since 2010. The grant, which has provided great benefit to the medical device manufacturer, resulted in 150 job training opportunities in medical device manufacturing. They included; Principles of Lean Medical Device Manufacturing, Six Sigma Quality Training, Blue Print Reading Skills, Basic Math Skills, Project Management Training, Excel Computer Skills, as well as Supervisor & Leadership I & II.

“This is the third time we‘ve done this with New Hampshire and it has been phenomenal,” said Adam Prime, President of Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing, Inc. “It‘s too good of an opportunity to pass up. Every round of funding increases our capabilities in medical device manufacturing and in other areas such as contract packaging and lean,” he said.

This year the medical device manufacturer received $17,598 in funding which the company matched. Last year Phase 2 received $22,500 in funding. The year before that it received $14,000. In each of these years, Phase 2 has matched the amount provided by the grant.

Job training is just one aspect of Phase 2‘s expansion efforts which include, infrastructure, hiring and sales outreach, all of which are helping them grow and stay extremely successful medical device manufacturers in a very competitive industry.
