25, September 2015: He will serve as an independent member of the Board, as well as on its Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
Mr. Takei joins the Company's Board of Directors to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ron T. Ming, who stepped down from Otsuka Venture Capital’s Board of Directors to focus on other business commitments.

Mr. Takei most recently served as President of a large investment bank helping to oversee the largest merger ever completed in the retail brokerage industry. During his tenure in the previous job Mr. Takei managed one of the most profitable full-service retail brokerage firms in the industry.
He brings more than two decades of leadership and experience in the financial services industry to Otsuka Venture Capital.
