Nutfield Technology’s new line of OPD Galvanometers bring superior quality to high speed scanning with moving magnet scanners made with Nutfield’s exclusive ceramic ball-bearing motors that are combined with high output position detectors. Applications for these galvo scanners include microscopy, imaging, laser marking, micromachining, optical scanning, OTC (optical coherence tomography), high speed scanning, and others.
Nutfield Tech’s QS-3, QS-5, QS-7 and QS-12 OPD Galvanometers Laser Scanners have mechanical designs incorporating low resistance/low inductance coils for increased scanning speed and optimized thermal characteristics. A mirror galvanometer, the OPD scanners offer mirror aperture ranges from 3mm to 45mm, coated to accommodate all power levels and laser wavelengths.
All Nutfield Tech’s OPD galvanometer scanners integrate with the QD-4000 Servo Amplifier, the smallest Class -1 servo amplifier available. Featuring dual output power amplifiers for maximum performance, the QD-4000 has low noise components to maximize signal-to-noise ratio for better accuracy.
