9th, December 2009, the United World Capital Pafos Branch in a modest but warm ceremony was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of City of Pafos, Savvas Vergas. In the presence of United World Capital Top Management, staff, family and friends following a blessing by father Charalambos.
The opening of the Pafos local branch is one more step in the continuous plans of United World Capital for expansion through physical presence. The Pafos Branch joins the rest of the group of UWC branches in Canada, Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Egypt as well as the soon to be inaugurated branches in South Africa, Greece, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Norway.
In his speech the Lord Mayor of Pafos said amongst other, “We are very proud to welcome to our city a company of such a high caliber as United World Capital. The company‘s history is of continuous development and expansion through high expertise and cutting edge technology. Also the fact that our city is chosen by such a global company is a testament to the development of Pafos into a European city.â€.
In his thanking speech President and CEO of United World Capital Mr Sergey Mayzus pointed out the importance in continuously establishing for UWC a physical presence to cities and countries of choice, “Our aim is to be able to meet with our clients face to face, to be able to interact physically.
