IMIRP Rapid Prototyping Ltd, are a Birmingham based business in the UK. They are located just off the M6 which makes them ideally suited to serve the whole of the UK.
This company specialises in rapid prototyping and low volume production, however, have recently purchased a CNC Machine. CNC is an acronym for computer numerical control, meaning that the machine cuts at extremely precise co-ordinates. They are basically described as automated milling machines, that allows IMIRP to fabricate products and parts quickly.
Paul Bingham, managing director, said “Frankly, our customers were asking us where they could go for CNC machined parts and we were recommending other businesses. Therefore, we thought we should buy a CNC machine and offer this as an extra service within our business.”
Bingham also said “Now that our larger customers are aware that we have a CNC machine they are also using us for their low volume production of CNC machined parts. It has been a fantastic invest for our business.”
