Najma steps into Charlie Chaplin’s shoes!
Sony PAL’s popular show Tum Saath Ho Jab Apne will witness a sweet surprise by Najma —Ashnoor Kaur. In an attempt to cheer up her mother Mariyam — BarkhaBhist who gets angry on something, Najma takes up the task of consoling her mother and calming her by doing something extraordinary! So, when nothing worked to brighten up Mariyam’s day, Najma decides to woo her mom by dressing up as Charlie Chaplin and cracking funny jokes with her.
Najma picks the traits of this great comedian and adds a dash of fun and frolic in the gloomy life of her mother. Ashnoor Kaur, who plays the role of Mariyam’s daughter Najma in the show, says, “I was so excited when I first heard that there is a scene which requires me to dress up as and imitate the great comedian Charlie Chaplin. As kids we’ve seen his silent movies in school and we still do and we’ve also seen so many people imitate the comedian at birthday parties etc. It was a really good opportunity for me to step into the great comedian’s shoes in order to cheer up and convince my mother. It was definitely one of the best and one of the most fun experiences in my acting career.”
