Explaining his thought about organizing such an event, Bikshapathi Yadav said, “Only educating people does make them eligible enough for getting jobs and we have yet not been able to make the youth both qualified as well as employable. Therefore, increasing the employability quotient among the youth is the main objective of organizing this seminar.”

The seminar was a full day affair from 10 AM with MLA Bikshapathi Yadav inaugurating the event along with the Principal of the school. Personality development, Communication skills and soft skills were the topic of discussion by the faculty who is an experienced professional in this field. The students were all ears at the beginning and after getting familiar with the topics as the day progressed, they did not hesitate to raise questions and become interactive.

The principal was very happy at the effort taken by SWDA and Bikshapathi Yadav. “I am greatly indebted to our honorable MLA for taking the first step in meeting the challenge of getting students employed. Education itself cannot guarantee employment unless the students can acquire skills that are demanded by the employers. Such programs will add great value to school education and will make the students employment ready when they finish their education.”

Saraswati Naidu, a student of Class X was elated after the seminar. “I have enjoyed every bit of it and feel highly motivated.”

Being encouraged by the resounding success of the launch, Bikshapathi Yadav has assured us that the beginning has just been made and he has plans of taking it to all other schools and colleges of the constituency. It may even be included in the school curriculum in future.
