Memphis, Tennessee - October 15, 2015 - The Memphis law firm of Gatti, Keltner, Bienvenu & Montesi has created a new scholarship and will award $2,500 to an undergraduate student for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.
Created by partner Michael Montesi, the Montesi Scholarship is aimed at helping Tennessee undergraduate students finance their education.
“I created this scholarship because I want to make a difference in the community,” said Michael Montesi. “I think one of the best ways to help the community as a whole is to help support
higher education. My hope is that this scholarship will ease some of the burden associated with the cost of tuition, books and supplies.”
All applicants must submit an online application and an essay of 500 words or less about how texting and driving has affected his or her life or an experience of how it has impacted someone he or she knows.
The deadline to apply is May 30, 2017 and the winner will be announced in July 2017.
In addition to the $2,500 scholarship, the winning essay will be published on GKBM’s blog.
To be eligible to receive the Montesi Scholarship, applicants must submit the online application and essay before May 30th, 2017 and must show proof of acceptance or active enrollment in an
undergraduate institution.
