Massachusetts, USA— The Massachusetts Marijuana Legalization Initiative was put on the November 8th, 2015 statewide ballot, and was approved with a 53.57% “Yes” vote. The provisions made as part of the initiative are set to go into effect on December 15th, 2016.

In light of recent events, Massachusetts residents are in need of a comprehensive online portal, which will provide them with the appropriate information and updates on all matters regarding marijuana purchase and use in the state.

Massachusetts State Marijuana is the first website of its kind to launch in the state, aiming to become an all-inclusive online portal for those eager to learn more about the regulation, purchase and use of marijuana in Massachusetts.

Of the website’s launch, Massachusetts State Marijuana’s media representative said “Our website is made by stoners, for stoners. We will provide all the answers to the most common questions that will naturally arise after the initiative’s passage, while we will also welcome inquiries by Massachusetts residents who are looking to find specific information on marijuana usage in the state”. He continued “The founding father Thomas Jefferson said that “The greatest service which can be rendered any country is to add a useful plant to its culture”, and we believe that marijuana falls into that category. The future of the private use of marijuana seems promising, and we are ready to help the people of Massachusetts interested in legal marijuana use to become knowledgeable about their rights and protections”.

In addition to a thorough Q&A section, the website will also feature articles and resources concerning the current and future laws and regulations governing marijuana cultivation, usage and purchase within the state.

Furthermore, Massachusetts State Marijuana will also create a database of marijuana dispensaries and retail stores which will offer marijuana, while visitors will be able to rate these providers’ services through the website’s store and dispensary finder portal.

It is expected that a public debate will arise as a result of the initiative’s passage, which is why Massachusetts State Marijuana will provide current news coverage on the matter, as well as unique content, which will aim to eliminate the stigma attached to marijuana use.

An influx of website visitors is anticipated after legalization day, which will certainly continue to rise in the coming months and years, as Massachusetts residents will become accustomed to living in an all-new era, during which marijuana usage will finally never be regarded with prejudice any longer.
