 Indore, September 13, 2013: STAR PLUS is all geared to launch its most ambitious show, and the biggest show on Indian television, ‘Mahabharat’ in grand style. The show which will go on air from September 16th and air Mon- Fri at 8.30 PM has already created a storm with its visually stunning promos and marketing innovations. Taking the idea forward of getting viewers close to the epic, STAR PLUS is bringing to town a first of its kind — Mahabharat Museum that will bring alive the Mahabharat era. In Indore, the Mahabharat Museum will be set up in C21 Mall at A.B. Road for two days i.e. Saturday 14th September & Sunday 15th September. The museum will let you have a close look at some of the key elements from the show. The museum will display various weapons, jewelry and fineries which have been used by characters in the show like Gandhari’s neckpiece, Arjun’ bow and arrow, Hastinapur’s mukut, Krishna’s Bansuri and Sudarshan Chakra etc. Apart from that, there will also be a massive LED screen which will play “The Making of Mahabharat” giving you a sneak preview of the show!

One of the other innovative and novel experiences for the patrons will be the ‘Virtual Set Tourin 3D’ of the Mahabharat sets which will take you to the beautiful Hastinapur palace, Vrindavan, Kunti Bhoj and many such amazing locations. A few lucky women will also get a chance to adorn the jewelry from the show as part of the contest running at the museum.

College students can also get an additional opportunity to dress up like the characters from Mahabharat through virtual wardrobe. The colleges that will display such wardrobes in town are Gujrati College and Devi Ahilya Vishvavidyalaya.

The show that has already brought together creative minds ranging from Bhanu Athaiya, Ajay-Atul, Ram Shetty, Devdutt Pattanaik and Omung Kumar, has already achieved a magnanimous stature.  Combined with unique marketing strategies and never seen before visual effects, the show is all set to create history on Indian television.
