Indie-movie star Macleish Day is starring in upcoming independent short film "Photographic Memory" opposite the famous Dominique Swain. He is also the co-producer of the film which aims to spread awareness about ADHD Concussion.

2/10/2016: Indie-movie star Macleish Day is starring in upcoming indie venture "Photographic Memory" where he has been cast opposite Dominique Swain of Face/Off and Lolita fame. Based on real-life events, the film is aimed to spread awareness about ADHD Concussion, wrapped in a gripping storyline packed with mystery, thrill and drama.

The dapper actor is also the co-producer of the film with “One World Today” director Dustin Clingan, who is the director of this movie as well. The screenplay is authored by debutant scriptwriter Dave M. Boddy and it is Boddy who experienced the real-life events narrated in “Photographic Memory".

It’s also a great pleasure to share the screen with such an awesome illustrious star as Dominique and together we would be presenting you a highly entertaining and enlightening movie to talk about”, smiled Day while announcing his part in the independent short film.

The main protagonist of the movie is Elisa, a mom fighting ADHD her whole life. However, as her daughter goes missing, she has to fight hard her memory issues and incapacity to concentrate on details to figure out the missing links that could take her to the child. The plot receives a twist when Elisa gets involved in some ghastly car accident, leading to a critical brain injury. But, surprisingly, the injury works to enhance her focus and memory, reversing the ADHD, much to the convenience of the brave mom. As a result, she receives supernatural abilities that could help her to recall memories of her past to find her missing daughter.

The principal photography for the film is about to start at the last quarter of the coming month or early November. The movie is scheduled to hit the floors in the first half of 2017.

An honorary member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, Day would be playing the role of Sebastian Wallace in the movie. An actor since the age of 12, Macleish studied at Interlochen Center For The Arts in Musical Theatre and was awarded with the esteemed ICA award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in "Sweet Charity"- directed by famous Broadway director Adam Pelty. He graduated in Musical Theatre in 2008 at University of Northern Colorado and after that went on to star in several indie and short film projects. The most renowned of those is surely “The Highwayman” where he starred opposite Martin Kove of “Karate Kid” fame. Day further completed his post-graduation from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
