On Thursday, 13 November 2014, Wayne McDonald will give a presentation "An Introduction to Search Engine Optimization" to the community.
Clinton Township, Michigan — Locally based internet marketer Wayne McDonald of Imagine Something Worthy, LLC will be giving a presentation on some of the basics of search engine optimization. A portion of the presentation will discuss 'on page' optimization; the remainder will discuss 'off page' optimization. This presentation is being created and presented at the request of the local internet marketing community that meets at the college.
Unless questions from the audience take the presentation in another direction, these are some of the items to be covered:
- For 'on page' optimization, the use of your keyword, synonyms of your keyword or portion of your keyword, and latent semantic index words and phrases.
- For 'off page' optimization, the use of other websites to build links back to your site; and if you have some control of this site, what to place on it.
At this presentation is expected to be a mix of demonstration and lively Question & Answer. The intention is to get people started and into action around Promoting their web site.
