bolocombines a unique knife and a wheel to create a rolling knife that makes food preparation easier and more effective. The knife is 135 mm. round, made of high-grade steel, and hardened to Rc-59 on the Rockwell test. The 160 mm wide x 110 mm high handle is easy to hold in one’s hand. The greatest advantage of the bolo: the rolling knife is the ability to place the hand directly above the blade. This type of hand placement permits the food preparer to have full control for precision cutting, while relieving the hand and wrist from unnatural movements. The other advantage of this type of hand placement is by placing simple force on bolo’s brake, the rolling knife turns into a highly effective chopper for carrots, lettuce, celery, and much more.
