Well if you believe that Katy Perry is fabulous, wait until such time you try Katy Perry nail polish. They are absolutely lovely and totally gorgeous. Having them on your nails instantly spices up your fingers, making them instantly lovely, so beautiful in fact you wouldn't be able to take your eyes off them. But before I go on talking more and more about these little babies, I have to advise you. At 16.50 usd per bottle, the prices are quite expensive. It is double the cost of a normal O.P.I nail polish which can be only 8.50 per bottle. But the colors they come in are incredibly adorable. Whether they are worth the extra dollars, I leave that up to your opinion.

Katy Perry nail polish is obtainable in four different shades; five if you consider black shatter as another color but yet I don't. Anyway, each Katy Perry nail polish color is special and stood up well against each other. Among all the four, my favourite would be Katy Perry Nail Polish Teenage Dream. Teenage Dream flatters my fingers as it looks really good on my nails. The color is sort of like a sheer pink with glittery finish. While I really like this color, I do feel that it is just a bit too sheer for my taste and that if this was slightly pink-ier, it would absolutely be more va-va-voom!

The applications of these nail polishes are no problems at all. They are speedy drying, very suitable for impatient girls like me. In my eyes, for top results, each nail polish needs at least three coats. Again, they are fast drying, so the waiting time between each coating is not long at all. However, although they are quick drying, you still have to wait until they dry up because adding the next coat before the existing coat dries up may cause the colors to drag and leave brush strokes marks. For solid colors like the Not Like the Movies and The One That Got Away this is not so much an issue. It is however a big issue with regards to Teenage Dreams and Last Friday Night since the dragging causes the glitter finish to be all dirty.

I mentioned earlier about Katy Perry Shatter Nail Polish. Not like the base shades which may have fancy names, the black shatter, I am sad to say is simply labeled Black Shatter. Each Katy Perry Nail Polish colour can be used as a base color for the black shatter but I would recommend against applying Last Friday Night as the base color. For the reason that Last Friday Night is a sparkly light blue color. Like its sister Teenage Dream, it is quite sheer and because it is light blue, the color does not really pop against the black shatter. In my honest opinion, the best color to use against the black shatter would be The One That Got Away. The deep cranberry colour clashes nicely against the black shatter.
