For almost 20 years, Judge Roy Bean has been dubbed Midtown Manhattan's "neighborhood bar" where everyone knows your name - literally.  Whether you are a first time customer, or a JRB regular, they always treat their guests like family.

New York, NY (April 14, 2016):-The craft beer house & restaurant is owned by long time restaurateur Peter Pernicone and Derek Walsh, who recently renovated and reopened the pub back in August 2014.  They wanted to create a place where locals and tourists alike can feel at home, sipping from a perfectly curated selection of craft beer and spirits, and nibbling on high-end pub fare. They have easily become a staple in midtown Manhattan, offering an eclectic vibe with rustic décor, a welcome retreat away from the hustle and bustle of 5th avenue and central park.

The Judge is a craft beer aficionados dream — stocking a wide variety of handpicked classic and seasonal craft beers such as Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, Bell’s Oberon Wheat Pale Ale and Brooklyn Blast Imperial IPA. The pub carries 24 beers on tap and more than 50 bottles at all times, with seasonal brews rotating on tap.

The menu boasts snacks and shares such as their classic “Omar Wings”, Pulled Pork Sliders, Truffle Mac n’ Cheese and Honey Cayenne & Bacon Brussels Sprouts.  Popular items include the Judge Roy Bean Texas Burger topped with a fried egg, bacon and jalapeño poppers, and the Steak Chimichurri flatbread.

They also feature $10 lunch specials which all are served with a glass of their JRB House Blonde Lager, with the most popular item on this menu being the Pub Burger, fries & beer. In the category of drinks, they offer a robust selection of whiskey’s and craft cocktails with fun names like the “Langtry Mule”, “The Jailbird” and “Tennessee Tea”.

As soon as you walk in the door, you are hit with a warm ambiance, from the exposed brick and vintage wallpaper covered walls to the edison bulb chandelier at the entrance.  They even went as far to incorporate time period elements like reclaimed 1800’s dairy farm barn wood, 1920’s railway track footrest, 1892 45-star American flag, upstate water piped beer taps and Brooklyn family made raw iron to pay homage to the late Judge Roy Bean.

Private parties can be arranged for larger groups. They provide two places for those who want to gather together at large. One is the jury room which can accommodate 16 people seated, and the other being the community table which can accommodate 8-10 people. The ambiance and local feel makes this a great place to gather.
