Indian born and educated, a technology enthusiast, Satya Nadella’s association with Microsoft dates back to 1992 when he first joined the company. 22 years down the road he is at the apex of one of the world’s most powerful organization. He is also only the third CEO of Microsoft after founder Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer.
Nadella was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and completed his schooling from Hyderabad Public School following which he got a bachelors degree in engineering, electronics and communication from Manipal Institute of Technology, Mangalore University. Nadella then moved to the US and earned an MS in Computer Science from the the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and an MBA from ChicagoBooth School of Business. A cricket lover, Nadella has spent his childhood playing the sport he loved, which he claims has taught him the emotions of leadership, confidence and teamwork. Satya has also been married for 22 years and has three children. Nadella is a true technologist and has been a Microsoft insider for decades. His passion and love, dedication and commitment have put him in the position he is today.
