Every journey starts with a first step and Jenna has had a lot of those when healing from the terrible car accident that put her life on hold for nearly a year.

Jenna Longmire(http://www.jennalongmiremusic.com/) really can’t hold it in because that is the song featured in her brand new music video just released on YouTube.  You are getting a sneak peek of it here first before its official release date of April 18, 2016.

Every journey starts with a first step and Jenna has had a lot of those when healing from the terrible car accident that put her life on hold for nearly a year.  Then the sudden death of her beloved father knocked her back down again.  Jenna Longmire is back on her feet and in fighting form proving she is every bit as resistant to challenge and adversity as the album Resistance that contains the song, “Can’t Hold It In,” belongs too.

Longmire’s long awaited release of her very first music video for a song from her debut album Resistance is being officially released on April 18, 2016 and Examiner is getting a sneak peek at it and passing it onto their readers.

Back at the end of 2014, Longmire’s released her CD Resistance which was then cut short because of her life threatening car accident and months of rehabilitation.  Just as she got on her feet, her Dad passed away which once again turned her world upside down.  This past January of 2016, Jenna re-released the CD and went right into production for her very first music video for her song, “Can’t Hold It In,” an upbeat tune with a very distinct message.

Jenna told Examiner that she “wanted this to be the first song on the CD to get an official music video because it was upbeat.  She went on to say that didn’t want a “heartbreak song to be her first music video.”

The music video features some local Nashville landmarks and artwork.  The gorgeous portrait that Jenna is performing in front of is by the talented artist, Christine Krainock, Contemporary Art by Christine  and that segment was filmed in Jenna’s recording studio in Nashville.  The Park where Jenna was riding the swing next to the adorable Adeline is Sevier Park in the 12 South area of Nashville.  The pool segments were shot at Coleman Park Community Center and the little girl diving into the pool is Maggie.  The Gibson Guitar you see painted on the wall is located at Carter Vintage Guitars on 8th Avenue.  Jenna’s costar and four-legged housemate is Breck and Breck is a Catahoula and has been heard barking that another cameo appearance is not out of the question in the future.

Jenna wanted her community to be part of this music video and she really delivered in a big way.
“Can’t Hold It In,” is a fun song that has an equally fun music video.  Jenna not only has a brand new music video but she also has a brand new website to showcase all the great new music she is writing, recording and releasing.  You can see Jenna perform live during CMA Week at the Commodore in downtown Nashville on June 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Resistance is a collection of sophisticated songs delivered by layered heartfelt lyrics and vocals by this Americana Pop Artist.  Resistance has 12 tracks that are not stopped and started by time constraints.  Each song has a life of its own and paints a picture clearly and distinctly like watching a motion picture set to music.  This is a beautiful, poignant debut album by Jenna Longmire and just the beginning of great things to come.

The Resistance CD and “Can’t Hold It In,” are now available on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby.  Find out more about Jenna and where you can see her performing live by visiting her website and make sure to like her on Facebook.
