Singapore — 24th August 2015 — Forestry has been traditionally known to be a long-term capital intensive investment. The key reasons for this are, trees take many years to mature, land is expensive, the maintenance of a plantation and harvesting is labour intensive.

PVG, with access to existing fast growing teak plantations and state-of-the-art bioengineering that accelerate the growth and yield of teak trees, have been able to reduce the length of time needed for the trees mature and also reduce the entry barrier for such investments.

PVG’s exclusive relationship with the plantation owners in Indonesia present the investors a unique opportunity to buy a stake in a Mature Teak Plantation at bite sized amounts, over a shorter term as compared to other Plantation-centric investment opportunities.

The Mature Teak Opportunity consists of Twenty Five (25) year old mature teak trees that are ready for harvest within the next twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months, hence allowing PVG and their counterparts in Indonesia the ability of realising the return-on-investment for this opportunity in a shorter period of time.
