Indian Idol celebrates its 10 years journey with Jashn-E-Idol
Indian Idol, one of the pioneering singing reality shows in India, has given a platform to millions of aspiring singers to come forward and showcase their talent. Marking ten years of its successful run, Sony Entertainment Television brought together celebrities associated with the show for a special celebration, Jashn-e-Idol. With this it was almost a homecoming for some of the previous judges and contestants along with the hosts as they returned to the Indian Idol stage to give power-packed performances.
Ex-judges Kailash Kher, Alisha Chinoy, Anu Malik and Udit Narayan showcased their magic as they crooned to their biggest hits. Joining them on stage were previous contestants Abhijit Sawant, Rahul Vaidya, Monali Thakur, Antara Mitra and Chang who enthralled everyone with their soulful voices. Also present was Farah Khan who was seen getting nostalgic and reliving the days of Indian Idol Season 1. The evening was hosted by the popular jodi of Hussain and Mini Mathur who kept everyone on their toes with their energy and amazing chemistry.
It wasn’t only the music that kept them entertained through the evening, but also some playful acts and pranks. Anu Malik and Farah Khan were seen missing co-judge Sonu Nigam. Chang confessed that he carries the hat given to him by Alisha Chinoy when he got eliminated from the show.
