Born in 1975, in a small village as a son of a poor farmer, in Latur district of Maharashtra, Tatyarao couldn’t attend his school due to short fall of students, still he managed to study his own & was a rank holder. He managed his studies while taking his cows for gazing. His brilliance mesmerized his teachers and principal, under their guidance he completed his schooling. Later he completed his MBBS and MS from Aurangabad. In his initial career he worked with a Government medical college, later he moved to Mumbai for his Kidney treatment. Currently a Dean of Grant Medical College and J.J. group of Hospitals, Dr. Lahane has performed more than 1 lakh operation for cataract.

Today, all his achievements and accolades reflect his glorious career as a renowned Doctor, but when we peep into his past, his story leaves us completely mesmerized.
